Bio
Michael has been performing poetry in NZ's capital since 2012. During this time, he's managed to write more rhymes, make more puns and drink more beer on stage than any other poet in the lower-North Island. Presumably. He's also been featured at TEDxVUW, opened for Harry Baker and toured the country with the raucous Wellington Pub Poets' Society.
He is an organiser and MC for Poetry in Motion, Wellington's leading spoken word meet-up.
Michael became Wellington's Regional Slam Champion in 2016. His production company 'Here to Read the Metre' was nominated for the Most Promising Emerging Company Award at the NZ Fringe Festival 2017.
